Meet Jeri Le
After 35 years of business writing, strategic plans, reports, newsletters, I stepped into a new chapter: storytelling.
During the early years of retirement, I found myself sitting in hospitals and hospice rooms as a full-time caregiver for family members. In those quiet, sacred spaces, words poured onto my screen. My first novel, The Farmer’s Daughter, was born out of those moments, woven with faith, family, and the surprising ways God works behind the scenes.
I write Christian fiction for people craving stories that feel real where characters wrestle with life’s big questions and ultimately find grace, purpose, and healing. I also love helping others bring their own stories to life, from memoirs to short stories and everything in between.
If you’re looking for fiction that reflects real life and points back to faith, you’re in the right place.

Helping Others Share Their Stories
My passion for storytelling goes beyond fiction. I’ve also had the honor of helping others shape and publish their own stories, like The Legacy of the Tholkes Family and Davee the Dreamer, a collection of short stories by my sister.
There’s something sacred about capturing someone’s legacy and helping them put it into words. Whether it’s a memoir, short story, or family history, I love collaborating with others to bring meaningful stories into the world.
Thinking about sharing your story?
A story of faith, resilience, and the quiet conversations that shape a life.
Pippi Jean Lisle has been talking to God for as long as she can remember. What began as a promise to stay in constant prayer if given a chance at purpose becomes the thread that carries her through a life marked by abandonment, ambition, and unwavering belief.
From growing up as a ward of the court to rising to the top of her medical class, Pip’s journey is one of determination and grace. But when she steps into her role at Phoenix Whole Life Healing Center, she quickly realizes that healing is not always found in medicine alone.
When Ava enters her life, walls begin to shift. Questions turn into connections. And the faith Pip has always relied on is tested in ways she never expected.
What unfolds is a powerful story of friendship, vulnerability, and the kind of healing that cannot be explained, only experienced.
A story of grace, grit, and the invisible threads that connect us.
When Evelyn steps onto the farm, she has no idea how her life, and the lives of everyone around her, are about to change. This is a story about family, love, loss, and the divine connections that often go unnoticed until we look back.
What began as a simple novel turned into something deeper. While editing, I realized Evelyn’s character connected almost every person in the book. That revelation led to the creation of the prologue and epilogue, adding new depth to her role and the story’s message.

Meet Cindy
Editor, Encourager, Lifelong Friend
Their story began over fifty years ago in journalism classes at Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville, Iowa. After graduation, life took them in different directions.
Years later, after both had retired, Jeri Le asked Cindy for a favor, to review a manuscript and offer honest feedback. Armed with a red pen and a keen eye, Cindy edited grammar, flow, and phrasing. What started as a one-time edit turned into something far more meaningful.
They’ve collaborated on multiple projects, including Jeri Le’s debut novel The Farmer’s Daughter, Cindy’s father’s memoir, Jeri Le’s sister’s short story collection, and now Pip’s Prayers.
